QUESTION: So what makes a pool a fav, by the Lizards standard .
Oh! cripes! so many factors. where do i begin. Water first and foremost without the water I'm pretty much screwed. The water, essential for a good pool. Water temp, also very important. I don't like to flinch getting in. One needs to be cool when upon entering the pool. and by cool i mean how i look. you know, my strut! when i stand up from my chair its important that my swim suit isn't stuck up my crack. Lounges, the actual outdoor furniture that I'm sitting on. i prefer a chair as opposed to a chase lounge. i like sitting upward so a pool with lots of chairs wins another tail up. 5 tails up is the highest rating you can get. MUSIC! there,s another big variable. i bring my own. most pools may not provide music and if they do depending on the clientele its not music i would enjoy. Jimmy Buffet anything is my favorite. Downloads to my phone of many variety's can be heard coming from my phone however being a loyal parrot head, James buffet is my all time best sound.
aesthetics oh so important! the view. I'm very visual, the scenery must be pleasing to my taste. the fastest way to spoil and good pool day is offending my visual pallet. surprisingly i don't mind children. The little bastards can be very entertaining. most hotels worth a second look will provide nice landscaping. PEOPLE! i love a pool filled with people. i could sit all day and people watch. However this is an area in which i wish to watch my literary step. I don,t wish to offend! So i will side step the people subject by saying what i look for are conversations with pool mates around Places of travel, Dining, Shopping and Must see Local stops.
Lastly, Loads of Sun, Food, Drink and a great Gift Shop. I give the Tahiti Village, Vegas 5 lizard tails up.
